Email & Website Migration Help: US Internet shutdown checker
Independent IT service. Not affiliated with US Internet, Securence, Metronet, or any government agency.

US Internet is retiring its email, DNS and web hosting services on November 11, 2026.

If your business domain still uses these services, your email and website may stop working on that date. You can check your domain below.

Enter only a domain name, like yourbusiness.com. This page looks up public DNS records. It does not store what you type and never asks for a password.

What is happening

US Internet (USI), which also runs Securence, is shutting down several business services. They include email filtering, POP/IMAP email, Hosted Exchange, DNS hosting, domain registration and web hosting. The shutdown date is November 11, 2026.

US Internet says it will not move your data for you. Mailboxes, DNS records and websites are not migrated automatically.

You can read the details on US Internet's own page: securence.com/migrate.

Who is affected

What to do

  1. Choose a new email provider and, if needed, a new DNS and web host.
  2. Copy your existing email, contacts and calendars to the new provider.
  3. Update your domain's records (nameservers, MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC) to point to the new provider.
  4. If US Internet is also your domain registrar, transfer the domain to another registrar.
  5. Test that email and your website work before November 11.

How to check

Use the box above. It reads your domain's public nameserver (NS) and mail (MX) records and tells you whether they point to US Internet or Securence. If the live lookup fails, it compares your domain with a list of domains we found on US Internet nameservers on November 2, 2026.

This check covers DNS and email routing. It cannot tell whether US Internet hosts your website files or is your domain registrar. Your US Internet account or invoice will show that.
